Wike Seeks Tinubu’s Intervention To Revive Abuja Millennium Tower Project.

Wike Seeks Tinubu’s Intervention to Revive Abuja Millennium Tower Project, The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has disclosed that the Abuja Millennium Tower project has remained stalled due to its estimated cost of ₦400 billion, a figure he said is beyond the financial capacity of the FCT Administration.Wike said the administration is seeking the intervention of President Bola Tinubu to have the iconic tower designated as a national project so it can receive funding from the Federal Government.

According to the minister, the enormous cost of completing the project makes it difficult for the FCT Administration to finance it within its current budget, necessitating federal support. He expressed optimism that once the project is classified as a national priority, the Federal Government would provide the necessary funding to facilitate its completion. The Abuja Millennium Tower, conceived as a landmark monument in the nation’s capital, has remained uncompleted for years despite its strategic significance.
