While the other members returned to Uganda, she allegedly stayed behind to collect the drug consignment for a friend identified as Joy.The agency said Nansubuga told investigators she expected to receive at least $1,000 after successfully delivering the drugs in Uganda. The NDLEA Chairman, Mohamed Buba Marwa, described the case as an example of how drug cartels exploit religious travel to recruit couriers.
