President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Prince Adetokunbo Ademola Ade-John as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Transportation and Mobility.
The appointment, which took effect on August 27, 2026, was announced in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Ade-John’s appointment is subject to the terms and conditions of service provided under the Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) (Amendment) Act, 2008.
In his new capacity, the presidential aide is expected to assist the administration in strengthening coordination and ensuring effective implementation of policies across key transportation institutions in the country.
Ade-John, who previously served as Special Assistant to the Minister of Tourism, is also described as a grassroots politician and the APC Apex Youth Leader across the globe.
President Tinubu tasked the new appointee with using his experience and expertise to support the Federal Government’s transportation and mobility agenda.
