She was also the mother of Adedeji Adeleke, billionaire businessman, founder of Adeleke University, father of Afrobeats superstar Davido.Mrs. Nnenna Esther Adeleke hailed from Akwete Ndoki in Ukwa East LGA of Abia State. She married Senator Ayoola Adeleke from Ede, Osun State, a union that crossed ethnic & regional lines.Her family home in Akwete is still known as “The Adeleke House,”.The Adeleke family continues to maintain strong ties with Akwete, offering scholarships to indigenes to study at Adeleke University & providing community support, especially during festive periods.
