The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives has called on President Bola Tinubu to intensify military operations against terrorists and other criminal elements responsible for attacks across Nigeria.The lawmakers expressed concern over the continued security challenges in parts of the country, warning that persistent terrorist attacks pose a threat to the lives and property of Nigerians.
The caucus urged the Federal Government to provide the armed forces with the necessary resources, equipment and intelligence required to effectively confront terrorist groups and protect vulnerable communities.It also called for stronger coordination among the various security agencies and increased efforts to prevent further attacks.The lawmakers stressed the need for sustained military operations, alongside other measures, to restore peace and security in affected communities and reassure Nigerians of the government’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
