Galadima says Peter Obi pledged to work with northern leaders on regional challengesA chieftain of the New Democratic Coalition (NDC), Buba Galadima, has said the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has pledged to work closely with northern leaders and key stakeholders to address the region’s major challenges if elected president.Galadima disclosed this while speaking on Obi’s plans for governance, stating that the former Anambra State governor is committed to adopting an inclusive approach to tackling issues affecting Northern Nigeria.According to him, Obi assured that traditional rulers, political leaders, community representatives and other stakeholders from the region would be actively involved in developing and implementing policies aimed at addressing insecurity, poverty, unemployment and other pressing concerns.
He said the NDC presidential candidate believes sustainable solutions to the North’s challenges can only be achieved through collaboration, consultation and active participation by the people of the region.Galadima added that Obi’s proposed approach reflects his commitment to national unity and inclusive governance, stressing that no region would be left behind if he emerges victorious in the presidential election.
