2027: NDC Should Remove Content Creators Posing as Activists — SpokespersonThe spokesperson of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Theo Agada, has called on the party’s leadership to remove what he described as “opportunistic content creators masquerading as activists” from its ranks ahead of the 2027 general elections.Agada said the party must take steps to distinguish genuine activists and committed members from individuals allegedly using the party’s platform primarily to create online content and pursue personal interests.
According to him, the presence of such individuals could undermine the party’s image, internal cohesion and preparations for the 2027 elections. He urged the NDC leadership to strengthen its internal structures and ensure that those representing the party publicly are committed to its principles and political objectives.Agada’s call comes as political parties and their supporters intensify mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections, with social media increasingly playing a major role in political communication and activism.
