Former Governor of Imo State and former Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, was arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force over allegations of criminal conspiracy, forgery and impersonation. However, information available this morning confirms that he has since been RELEASED ON BAIL after approximately one hour of interrogation and is no longer in police custody.According to reports, Okorocha was taken into custody on Monday night, October 12, 2026, at the REIZ Continental Hotel in Abuja. The police said he had previously been invited for questioning at the Force Headquarters on September 2, but the meeting was moved to September 8 at the request of his legal team. He allegedly failed to appear on the rescheduled date. The latest information from the police confirms that after his arrest, Okorocha was questioned for approximately one hour and subsequently released on bail. He was directed to return to the Force Headquarters on Tuesday for further questioning as investigations into the allegations continue. So, yes, Rochas is a free man this morning, although the investigation itself is not over.It is important to state clearly that these remain allegations and should not be presented as proof of guilt. Interestingly, before his arrest, Okorocha had publicly denied that any bench warrant existed and challenged those behind the earlier reports to produce it.As I always say, evidence before condemnation, due process before destruction, and truth has no gender, status, political party or favorite. Let the evidence speak and let the law take its course in every lawful case, not witch hunt oh!But wait ooo! Was this not the same Rochas Okorocha who was one of the major political figures who carried APC into the South East, especially Imo State? Was this not the same Rochas we recently saw with Madam Remi Tinubu at that APC women’s gathering in Abuja? Politics, mbok! Today you are useful, tomorrow you may discover that the political dining table has suddenly developed missing chairs. Lol!Anyway, both Rochas Okorocha and Hope Uzodinma, our Igbo prodigal sons and, in my opinion, useful political tools to those working against the interests of Ndi Igbo, should understand one simple lesson: when you allow yourself to become a pawn in another person’s political chess game, do not be surprised when the player decides it is time to sacrifice the pawn.My simple advice to Madam Remi Tinubu is simple. Madam, take it easy with what many of us perceive as the politics of dividing brothers and weakening Ndi Igbo and Deltans through desperate politicians within APC.You played your political game in Osun, but the people there proved politically wiser. In Delta, I watched what I considered another dangerous political game involving APC interests, political machinery, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Ifeanyi Okowa, Ned Nwoko and the battles surrounding the party. That was the period many of us began asking serious questions about who is truly helping APC and who may ultimately become one of its biggest political liabilities.Madam, you may just become your husband’s greatest political mistake in the next election! And make no mistake about it, the youths do not need to flood the streets or engage in violence to stage a BLOODLESS REVOLUTION. This is a new generation. We are tech savvy people, digital strategists, tech enthusiasts and experts who understand the enormous power of information, organization and the ballot. We can make things happen peacefully, legally and decisively when it matters most. I call it “OPERATION 11:45 HOUR!” When that hour comes, the people will speak where their voices matter most: AT THE BALLOT BOX AND AFTER THE BALLOT BOX PROCESSES.Then there is Hope Uzodinma, your favorite “APC candidate and APC son.” We hear all sorts of political conversations about his future, including Senate ambitions and even talk about the Senate Presidency. Let us see how all these political calculations eventually play out. Madam, you do not own Nigeria!Remember what happened in Osun State because something similar can happen during a presidential election in Nigeria. Never underestimate Nigerians when they finally decide that enough is enough! You have messed with the Igbos for too long, and the SOUTH SOUTH/SOUTH EASTERN people have tolerated what I consider your political excesses for too long now! I tolerated you for this long because of your husband, your late mother in law and Pastor Adeboye of Redeemed Church, but I think it is time for God Himself to tame and spiritually cripple every machinery working against the peace, unity and progress of our people.Madam Remi Tinubu, I have lost respect and love for you because of what I have watched unfold politically. And please, LET MY “FOSTER FATHER” GO!Well, technically, they have let him go this morning, mbok! Lol! But I am talking about the POLITICAL HOOKS!Let Rochas off your political hooks, mbok! Yes, he is not a saint. I know that better than many people. But Hope Uzodinma and those fighting him should not behave as though they are saints either. Give the man whatever political respect he has earned within the APC family he helped to build in the South East, or allow him to age gracefully and enjoy his retirement in peace. But let me tell you something strange.
I still see Rochas Okorocha in the Villa someday, and I see Kashim Shettima as President of Nigeria. How it will happen, I honestly do not know. I can only describe what I see as divine. Politics has taught us never to write anybody’s final chapter too early. And to a few desperate politicians who believe they already know exactly how the coming elections will end, be careful with your confidence. Life itself can rearrange human calculations before election day, and political fortunes can disappear overnight. Nobody owns tomorrow.I have spoken as someone who is not interested in your party nonsense, drama or political rewards. You all know that I have always turned down your offers. When I am ready, I will grab the opportunity to lead my people to the Promised Land, and God will make it a smooth operation.Until then, I am watching all of you with my two korokoro eyes. Politics is indeed a very interesting classroom, mbok!We are watching.Come closer and receive some sense before you accuse me of supporting my foster father, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, click on these links:👇https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Eq65r9tUH/?mibextid=wwXIfrhttps://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Dn8aUvDBw/?mibextid=wwXIfrProf. Mgbeke
