The governor said the Army’s commitment to securing oil facilities and combating criminal activities in the Niger Delta has helped create a safer environment for oil exploration and production.According to Fubara, the military’s operations have not only reduced the activities of oil thieves and other criminal elements but have also enhanced the country’s economic fortunes through increased crude oil output and higher revenue generation.
He urged the Nigerian Army to sustain its efforts in protecting critical national infrastructure and maintaining peace and security, assuring the military of his administration’s continued support in promoting stability and development in Rivers State.
