EFCC,ICPC Reportedly Investigating Utilisation Of #12B FG Intervention Fund Released To NFF

🚨 BREAKING NEWS EFCC AND ICPC REPORTEDLY INVESTIGATING UTILISATION OF ₦12 BILLION FG INTERVENTION FUND RELEASED TO NFFThe Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) are reportedly investigating the utilisation of the ₦12 billion Federal Government intervention fund released to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the payment of outstanding players’ wages, bonuses, and other national team obligations.

According to reports, the NFF confirmed the investigation in a letter dated August 18, stating that all documents relating to the fund are currently with the two anti-corruption agencies.The development comes amid growing scrutiny of the NFF and the management of public funds allocated to Nigerian football.
