2027: APC National Secretary Meets Adeleke, Says Osun Will Be Delivered for TinubuThe National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, has met with Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as part of efforts to secure support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.Basiru, who visited Governor Adeleke, congratulated him on his recent electoral victory and expressed appreciation for the governor’s attendance at the burial of his late mother.The APC national secretary said the meeting also focused on the commitment to deliver Osun State for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
According to Basiru, Adeleke had promised to support Tinubu’s presidential bid, and discussions during the visit centred on fulfilling that commitment.Basiru said, “I am here to congratulate His Excellency, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on his recent victory and to thank him for attending my late mother’s burial. We also discussed the commitment to deliver Osun for Mr. President in the 2027 Presidential Election, as promised by Governor Adeleke.”The meeting comes amid increasing political realignments and consultations across the country as political parties and their leaders begin preparations for the 2027 general elections.
