Osun Election: ADC Raises Alarm Over Alleged Plan to Arrest AregbesolaThe African Democratic Congress (ADC) has raised the alarm over an alleged plan to arrest former Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, ahead of the August 15 governorship election in the state.The party expressed concern that the alleged move could be politically motivated and aimed at disrupting its activities ahead of the election.The ADC called on security agencies and other relevant authorities to uphold professionalism and ensure that the electoral process is not undermined by politically motivated actions.
The party also urged its members and supporters to remain calm and law-abiding while calling on stakeholders to ensure a peaceful, free and credible election in Osun State.
