President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Prince Adetokunbo Ademola Ade-John as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Transportation and Mobility.
The appointment, which took effect on August 27, 2026, was announced in a statement on the development.
According to the statement, Ade-John’s appointment will be guided by the terms and conditions of service provided under the Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) (Amendment) Act, 2008.
In his new position, the presidential aide is expected to assist President Tinubu in strengthening coordination and ensuring effective implementation of policies across key transportation institutions in the country.
Ade-John previously served as Special Assistant to the Minister of Tourism and is also described as a grassroots politician and the APC Apex Youth Leader worldwide.
President Tinubu urged the new appointee to use his experience and expertise to support the Federal Government’s transportation and mobility agenda.
