Osun APC Accuses Adeleke of Harbouring Wanted Criminals, Faults Governor’s ResponseOsogbo — The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of allegedly harbouring wanted criminals in the Government House, describing his response to the allegation as evasive.
The accusation was contained in a press statement issued on Saturday and signed by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi.According to the APC, the allegation was raised during a meeting between the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, and stakeholders ahead of the August 15, 2026, governorship election in Osun State.The opposition party claimed that Governor Adeleke failed to directly address the allegation during the engagement with the police chief, arguing that his response did not sufficiently clarify the issue.
The APC urged the relevant security agencies to thoroughly investigate the allegation in the interest of public confidence and the credibility of the forthcoming governorship election.As of the time of filing this report, the Osun State Government had not issued a formal response to the APC’s latest statement
