Kefas made the call in Abuja while speaking at a gathering of descendants of the ancient Kwararafa Kingdom, estimated to number about 20 million people across more than 22 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The governor said insecurity, poverty, unemployment, poor infrastructure and limited economic opportunities require collective action.
He urged Nigerians to collaborate in agriculture, food security, education, skills development, technology, trade and investment.
Kefas also stressed the need to empower women and young people, preserve cultural heritage and strengthen traditional institutions to promote peace and responsible leadership.
He said the best way to honour the achievements of past generations is through organisation, discipline and collective action that produces tangible development.
