Tinubu Approves 27 Road Projects Worth N3.9tn Across 15 States, Says Umahi . The Federal Government has approved 27 road projects valued at over N3.9 trillion across 15 states as part of efforts to improve road infrastructure and boost connectivity nationwide.
Minister of Works, David Umahi, disclosed the development while briefing journalists after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday.Umahi said President Bola Tinubu approved the projects as part of the administration’s commitment to expanding and rehabilitating critical road infrastructure across the country.
The minister also announced that the final 164-kilometre section of one of the ongoing road projects is expected to be completed by November 2026, bringing the project closer to full delivery.According to him, the newly approved road projects will be executed across Adamawa, Benue, Cross River, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Taraba and Yobe states.Umahi said the projects are expected to enhance transportation, facilitate economic activities, and improve connectivity between communities, in line with the Federal Government’s infrastructure development agenda
