Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has urged residents of the state to reject any return to what he described as the era of half salaries for civil servants ahead of the August 15 governorship election.Adeleke appealed to voters to support his administration, saying his government remains committed to the prompt payment of workers’ salaries and the welfare of public servants.
The governor warned against a return to policies that, according to him, resulted in salary reductions and hardship for workers in the state.He also called on the electorate to vote peacefully and protect their votes during the governorship election.Adeleke maintained that his administration would continue to prioritise workers’ welfare and implement policies aimed at improving the living standards of residents across Osun State.
