2027: INEC publishes credentials of Tinubu, Atiku, Peter Obi, other candidates
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the personal details, academic credentials and other documents submitted by major presidential candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The electoral body released the documents of President Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, and his running mate, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, as well as those of African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Atiku Abubakar.


The publication is part of INEC’s transparency measures to allow Nigerians and other stakeholders to scrutinise the information provided by candidates contesting for elective positions in the 2027 polls.

INEC had earlier announced that it would make public the particulars, academic records and other submitted documents of candidates seeking election into the offices of President, Senate and House of Representatives.
