Air Chief Calls for Whole-of-Society Approach to Tackle South-East InsecurityThe Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has called for stronger collaboration among governments, security agencies, traditional institutions and local communities to address insecurity and sustain peace in the South-East.Speaking on efforts to improve security in the region, Aneke stressed the need for a whole-of-society approach, saying lasting peace can only be achieved through collective action by all stakeholders.

He noted that while security operations remain essential, addressing the underlying causes of insecurity requires coordinated efforts involving government at all levels, community leaders and residents.The Air Chief urged stakeholders to work together to build trust, strengthen intelligence sharing and promote initiatives that would foster stability and development across the South-East.He reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s commitment to supporting ongoing security operations while encouraging greater community participation in efforts aimed at restoring lasting peace in the region.
