PDP Applauds FG, Makinde Over Rescue of Abducted Oyo Schoolchildren, Teachers

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commended the Federal Government and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for the successful rescue of abducted schoolchildren and teachers in the state.
The commendation was made by the Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), Adolphus Wabara, who also praised security agencies for their efforts in securing the safe return of the victims.

Wabara, in a statement, lauded the courage, professionalism and coordination displayed by the security operatives during the rescue operation, describing their efforts as strategic and effective in overpowering the abductors.
He particularly praised Governor Makinde for his leadership and continuous support, noting that his administration provided crucial assistance that contributed to the success of the operation.

The PDP BoT chairman, however, urged the Federal Government to increase efforts towards rescuing other Nigerians, including women and children, still held captive in different parts of the country.
He also called on federal and state governments to strengthen security measures in schools, communities and urban areas to protect citizens from becoming targets of criminal elements.

“We urge Nigerians across the country to continue to be vigilant and work with the government and security agencies to further guarantee security in our country,” Wabara said.
