Wike Defends Gbajabiamila Over Alleged Fake Presidential Council . The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has defended President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, against allegations linking him to the controversial Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, described as a non-existent government agency.
Speaking on the matter, Wike dismissed claims that Gbajabiamila was involved in the alleged scheme to obtain public funds through the purported council.The FCT minister said he knew the Chief of Staff personally and was convinced that Gbajabiamila could not have participated in any attempt to defraud the government through a fake agency.Wike maintained that the allegations against the presidential aide were unfounded, insisting that Gbajabiamila had no connection with the controversial council or the alleged activities associated with it.He urged the public to refrain from making unsubstantiated allegations, stressing the need to allow relevant authorities to investigate the matter and establish the facts.
