The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) has described the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, as a whistleblower in the ongoing scandal involving the alleged fake Federal Government agency, the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).
The group backed clarifications issued by the Presidency, through the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, which detailed how Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi allegedly created a non-existent agency, forged official documents, and unlawfully secured office space at the Federal Secretariat while engaging in activities that undermined government institutions and diplomatic protocols.
According to the Presidency’s account, Gbajabiamila first raised alarm on October 17, 2025, after receiving complaints from officials of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) about suspicious activities linked to the purported agency. He reportedly escalated the matter to the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force.
The AYCF, in a statement by its National President, Alhaji Mohammed Aliyu, said the Chief of Staff provided supporting evidence, including allegedly forged appointment letters bearing falsified signatures, seals, and reference numbers.
The group commended his actions, insisting that his prompt reporting helped prevent what it described as a major embarrassment to the Federal Government. It added that
Gbajabiamila’s conduct reflected accountability and transparency in public service.
AYCF also described Adeyemi as a repeat offender with a history of alleged
impersonation and fraudulent activities, including claims that he once posed as the head of a non-existent international youth organisation affiliated with the United Nations.
The forum warned against politicising the matter, urging the public to allow ongoing court proceedings to run their course. It noted that Adeyemi and his alleged accomplices are scheduled to appear in court on July 27.
It maintained that the allegations against the Presidency’s Chief of Staff should be disregarded pending the outcome of judicial proceedings, describing them as unsubstantiated claims from a “serial impostor.”
