Oyo APC unveiling Governorship Running Mate, Calls for Unity Ahead of 2027 PollsThe All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has unveiled Adesoji Adedeji as t ki minhe running mate to the party’s governorship candidate, Sharafadeen Alli, ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The unveiling ceremony, held in Ibadan, attracted party leaders, stakeholders, candidates and supporters, who reaffirmed their commitment to reclaiming power in Oyo State after eight years in opposition.Addressing party members at the event, the Oyo APC Chairman, Moses Adeyemo, said the party could no longer afford internal divisions and urged aggrieved members to embrace genuine reconciliation in the interest of the party.Adeyemo identified unity, discipline and grassroots mobilisation as essential to the APC’s success in the 2027 general election, calling on members to place the party’s collective interest above personal ambitions.
He also appealed to residents of Oyo State and APC supporters to vote massively for President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates, stating that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to inspire confidence through economic reforms, national development initiatives and democratic stability.
